  • “A deeply personal and beautifully crafted memoir.” – Peter Moss (author of The Singing Tree)
  • “More than a personal tribute, this is a story about love and loss. It is a story about soulmates and a promise that is kept, Always Forever.” – Dale Bacar (Photographer)
  • “This is not a love story. This is a story about life written in the most honest way. In so many ways we have forgotten about the essence of living and dying.” – Natalie Tong
  • “This book was a touching tribute to a young man who was loved by so many.” – Kate Cornwell (author of A Face Within)
  • Gay Star News
  • “People always say love knows no boundaries. But it’s only after AD’s heartfelt words that we truly believe the emotion transcends the distance even between life and death.” – TimeOut Hong Kong
  • “The love that lasts forever, despite meeting up in a short period of time, has brought them to another level of spiritual levitation.” – Jackson’s Doctrine
  • “Flamboyance is balanced with emotional turmoil…” – Dim Sum Magazine
  • Kaosgl.com
  • “It is the story of a family’s strength in grief and the belief that the spirit of those who are beloved to us never truly leave us behind but are merely awaiting our arrival in the where that lies beyond.” – The Novel Approach
  • “This is no fairy tale love at first sight, but the speed of its progression is astonishing and yet strangely it appears to evolve quite naturally.” – Damian Chu
  • “This memoir was written like an outpouring of emotions into papers. It’s not perfect, sometime I wanted to tell AD, stop doing that, but that is the difference of memoirs and novels, memoir is life and it doesn’t have a carefully planned plot, and you cannot chance an event since you don’t like it.” – Elisa’s Reviews & Ramblings (short-listed for Rainbow Awards ~ Non-Fiction category)
  • “If there is a writing cure to the process of loss, Das models it effectively here… The social import of Das’s work is particularly large: with so few memoirs detailing Asian queer relationships and even fewer still on this transnational scale, Always Forever stands as a pioneering publication.” – Asian American Literature Fans
  • “Grief is messy and won’t be contained. You can try compartmentalizing it, but it will slop over the edges and splash on every surface until your life is soaked through. That’s what happens in Ansh Das’ memoir Always Forever, but Das also shows how things dry out and you learn to live with what you cannot control. ” – Jerry Wheeler
  • “Always Forever has such a naked voice, that the reader cannot evade its personal demands.” – Nigel Collett and Tony Ed Lo on Fridae
  • “As AD battled grief, he emerged as a new person and while this is not easy to read, we learn something about dealing with loss.” – Amos Lassen
  • Radio Television Hong Kong – Kwok Talk
  • Radio Television Hong Kong – Morning Brew
